This is a very welcome card to draw on this blustery, and very dark September morning. The kids are back in school, everyone is going about their daily routine and the weather has taken a definite autumnal turn.
The Three of Wands literally lights up the darkness, illuminating the path in front of you, showing you the way. This is a card all about action - translating all of those carefully made plans into action.

Some of the hard work has already been done for you and your initial path forward is clear, but the rest is up to you. Plotting and planning can only take you so far and the time now is for inspired, aligned, magical action.
Some people regard this card as the minor arcana version of The Magician and it is easy to see why. It recognises the creative spark we have within all of us and whenever this card shows up it always brings it’s own brand of magic and sparkle to proceedings.
This card reminds us that we all have limitless potential and opportunities available to us. But in order to reach them we need to be prepared to step outside of our comfort zone.
Change happens when we push ourselves forward, not when we hover anxiously, waiting in the wings.
